DWM service changes during Super Bowl week

Excitement and anticipation is in the air as it is anticipated that more than ONE MILLION visitors will converge on Atlanta for 10 days of events leading up to Super Bowl LIII at Mercedes-Benz stadium on February 3, 2019! More than 100 venues in downtown, Midtown and Buckhead are being used for Super Bowl events, which will result in street and lane closures and detours. In consideration of the parking limitations, street/lane closures and restrictions beginning the week of January 27, 2019 for the big game, limited parking will be available for the DWM customer service centers. It is HIGHLY encouraged for DWM customers to ride MARTA to visit the DWM Customer Service Centers at 72 Marietta Street and 55 Trinity Avenue. Please plan for significant traffic delays in and around Atlanta. Due to street/lane closures and restrictions, the following impacts to DWM’s operational services are anticipated: As of January 22, 2019, water connection and disconnection requests submitted between January 25-February 4, 2019 will be fulfilled on a first-come first-served basis after February 5, 2019. Boil Water Advisory in Effect!

The City of Atlanta is lifting the boil water advisory throughout most of the advisory area, with the exception of the Hutcheson Ferry Road zone: • Selborne Way • Selborne Lane • Augusta Lane • Gainey Lane • Rockhill Drive • Atlanta Newnan Road • Serenbe Lane • Middleton Way The boundaries of the isolated area still under a boil water advisory can also be viewed HERE. The Department of Watershed Management will continue to follow its flushing protocols for the system as a precaution and will process samples for the remaining zone to affirm the distribution system water quality has not been compromised. The Georgia Environmental Protection Division has been contacted and will be consulted to lift the boil water advisory when samples are returned. Loss of power at the Adamsville Pump Station last evening triggered a temporary loss of pressure in a portion of the drinking water system serving areas of southwest Atlanta, the Cities of South Fulton, Union City and Fairburn. The system and water pressure were restored to normal operations within approximately 70 minutes. Samples taken throughout the affected area confirmed no system-wide contamination of the public drinking water system. However, out of an abundance of caution, the isolated advisory area remains under a boil water advisory until final testing is completed. These results are expected to be available by the morning of Wednesday, July 31, 2019. ATL311 Closed Monday, January 21st

We will be closed on Monday, January 21st in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will resume with normal business hours, 7:00am-7:00pm, on Tuesday, January 22nd. Please use our website or mobile app to submit service requests during this time.

Watershed IVR Scheduled Maintenance

On Wednesday, December 12th between 7:00pm and 10:00pm, the Watershed IVR server will be down for maintenance. During the maintenance, the Watershed IVR will not be available for customers to access their bill(s) or make payments, however, the DWM Online Web Portal (payatlwateronline.com) will be available for customers to view their accounts and make payments.

Alcohol License Renewal

Alcohol licenses expire at midnight December 31 of each year. Licenses must be renewed between October 1 and December 31. The City does not send courtesy alcohol renewal applications and accompanying forms. It is the business licensee’s responsibility to be aware of and comply with licensing requirements.
