City of Atlanta Property Damaged by Citizen

If a citizen has damaged City of Atlanta property, the incident should be reported to the citizen’s auto insurance carrier. The insurance carrier should be provided with the City of Atlanta Office of Risk Management phone number, 404-330-6982, or email address, ermmailbox@atlantaga.gov, to follow-up on the claim. The citizen should contact the City of Atlanta Office of Risk Management directly if uninsured.

The following information should be included in the communication:
(1) Police report and report number (if applicable).
(2) Date damage occurred.
(3) Specific location of incident with the names of cross streets, nearby businesses, and/or an exact address.
(4) Description of damage
(5) Photos of damage, if available
(6) Witnesses names and phone numbers
