solution home » services » solution Property Owner Or Renter Request To Close Water and Sewer AccountIf you are a renter; or owner of a non-commercial property who is selling or moving out of your property and wish to disconnect your water and sewer account, submit a request online or by using your mobile device. You may also contact Customer Service Center at 404-546-0311 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Otherwise, you will be liable for water and sewer charges even if you are no longer living at or using the property. To create an online/mobile request, please provide the following information:(1) Full name; (2) Service address (if using a mobile device, you may allow GIS to identify your service residence or enter it manually);(3) Phone number;(4) Email address; In the Summary of Request box also include:(5) Last four (4) digits of your Social Security Number or Tax ID number; (6) Account number(s) for water and sewer, and fire and irrigation account, if applicable;(7) Date you wish to have services disconnected; and, (8) Forwarding mail address for any applicable deposit refunds to be returned.You may also fax your request to 404-221-9518. Your request will be reviewed during normal business hours. If additional account verification is required, the water/sewer account holder will be notified. Note: Please submit only one request, per account at a time.To establish new water and sewer services inside the City of Atlanta service area, search for one of the following articles respectively: (a) Renter Request to Establish New Water and Sewer Bill Account Services, or (b) Property Owner Request to Establish New Water and Sewer Bill Account Services. If moving inside the city, all balances must be paid in full before new services can be established.
