The application/renewal for a mobile food vending permit must be submitted in person at the Atlanta Police Department (APD) License & Permit Office, located at:

Submission of the following completed documents and fees is required:

(1) Private Property/Flea Market Vendor Information Sheet

(2) Application for Private Property/Flea Market Vending

(3) Valid state issued picture ID or valid work VISA

(4) Valid business license (issued by City of Atlanta or a jurisdiction within the State of Georgia)

(5) Valid Georgia Department of Revenue sales tax ID number

(6) Valid permit through the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness, Environmental Health Services Division

(7) Valid, notarized Private Property Owner Permission Letter

(8) Valid City Zoning form

(9) Two character reference letters with person’s name, address, and phone

(10) Site plan diagram with signage and power source

(11) Registered corporate charter listing officers’ names, addresses, titles and percentages, and three previous months bank statements (if applicable)

(12) Completed background check and fingerprinting by the Atlanta Police Department, Office of Licensing & Permits 

(13) $145 application fees ($75 permit, $50 application, $20 fingerprinting), payable by cashier’s check or money order only

     

Per City Ordinance, disabled veterans and blind persons are exempt from paying application fees.

 

Permits are valid for one year. Application for permit renewal must be submitted by 12 midnight on the day before the existing permit expires. Submission of the above-mentioned documents is required. The non-refundable permit renewal fee is $100.
