The Atlanta Fire Rescue Department (AFRD) provides home fire safety surveys (checks) upon request from homeowners. The purpose of the fire safety surveys is to help citizens ensure their homes are not in an imminent threat of fire. If needed, smoke alarms will be installed during the assessment.
