For inmates eligible for bail, cash bonds can be posted at the Atlanta City Detention Center 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. The bond payer must bring one form of identification that includes their full name and signature (i.e. driver's license, employment, professional school, or membership ID card).

All forms of currency are accepted, except pennies. Only United States Post Office and Western Union money orders are acceptable. Cashier's Checks from a local bank can be accepted 4 hours after purchase. The Atlanta City Detention Center does not accept personal checks, debit cards, or credit cards.
