The City of Atlanta Police Department License and Permit Unit regulates the sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages on premises via the issuance of an alcohol license. All alcohol licenses expire on December 31^st each year and must be renewed by then for a business to continue the sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages.

ATLCORE is the City’s online licensing and permitting portal for application and payment processing. If you are registering for the first time on ATLCORE, contact Atlanta Police Department License & Permits Unit to have your online registration linked to your current account once you have successfully registered. DO NOT submit a new application. In addition to alcohol licenses, business license customers must also renew their general business licenses accordingly.  Please review the Alcohol Renewal Instructions to receive information on the process and required forms.

• Consent Form
• E-Verify Affidavit
• Save Affidavit
• Copy of Government Issued ID (non-expired)

NOTE: ATLCORE will not accept upload of a file name containing special characters (&,@,/, etc.).

Renewal applications received after December 31 will be considered a failure to renew, which may result in an adverse action by the License Review Board. The license must be renewed by visiting:
