Vendors may begin submitting permit and business license renewal applications on January 2 each year. The applications must be submitted via  ATLCORE, the city's business licensing and permitting portal. All steps in the process for vendor permit renewal, including submission of fees and the required background check, must be completed on or before February 28. 
 
The following items are required for renewal via ATLCORE:

1. Completed Public Vending Permit application

2. Valid permit through the Fulton or DeKalb County Board of Health

3. Valid government issued identification (i.e., passport or driver’s license)

4. 360-degree photo

After your application is reviewed for completion, you will be invoiced for the following items via  ATLCORE and payment may be made via the portal: 
 

• A non-refundable fee of $125 is applicable ($75 permit, $50 background check, $20 fingerprinting).

• A $350 annual electronic reservation fee

NOTE: You must also have a valid occupation tax certificate/business license (issued by the City of Atlanta or a jurisdiction within the State of Georgia). All completed materials required for business license renewals must be received by February 15 of the renewal year. The deadline to submit payment for business license renewals is April 1. 
 
Following the payment of these fees you must complete the background check and fingerprinting by the Atlanta Police Department, License and Permits Unit.

Acceptable forms of payment in person are cash, money order, certified bank check, any major credit card (Visa, MC, Amex, Discover). No personal or business checks will be accepted.
