The Georgia Crisis and Access Line (GCAL) assists callers experiencing mental health, substance use, and developmental disability crises. Callers are connected to Behavioral Health professionals who conduct brief clinical assessments and then collaborate with the caller on determining the appropriate community linkage to assist them during the crisis.
GCAL is a free crisis line available to all residents of the state of Georgia 24/7 at 1-800-715-4225.
Outside of the phone line, GCAL offers the MyGCAL app to Georgia’s teens and young adults (ages 10-26) where they can receive assistance on a platform that is more comfortable for their use. The MyGCAL app is available in the Apple Store and Google Play.
