To dispute a school bus violation ticket, a defendant must appear at the Municipal Court of Atlanta on the hearing date reflected on the summons. To confirm a hearing, the defendant must submit the form located on the back of the summons to the Court within fourteen (14) days of the issue date shown on the front of the notice.

A court appearance does not increase the fine amount.

School bus violation hearings are not eligible to be rescheduled. All requests for resets will be denied.

Defendants may withdraw a dispute request after a hearing has been scheduled by paying the fine, which will resolve and close the case.
