MORATORIUM: Due to FIFA events, filming in the public right-of-way is prohibited from June 11 through July 19. No permits will be issued for filming in the Downtown and Midtown areas during this time. Refer to the attached World Cup Activation Zone Map below.
The Atlanta Mayor's Office of Film & Entertainment tries to accommodate all production needs. In certain cases, a permit may be expedited. The applicant must complete the standard application process. Be sure that your dates are accurate on your application.
The Office of Film & Entertainment will contact any production whose date falls within an expedited timeframe. A rush fee will be assessed for expedited permits. Utilize the link below to view the permitting fee schedule.
Only B-roll, lane and sidewalk closures can be expedited. A full street closure cannot be expedited beyond the 5-business day time frame. A park cannot be expedited beyond the 72-hour timeframe. Street car closures require a 10-business day timeframe and cannot be expedited.
