To request APD officer participation in a community event, a detailed email should be sent at least 30 days in advance of the event to atlantacops@atlantaga.gov or jdhodge@atlantaga.gov. The following information should be included in the email:

   •  Date of event
   •  Time of Event
   •  Organizer or Community 
   •  Contact Person’s Name
   •  Contact Person’s Phone Number 

The request will be forwarded to the appropriate unit for review. Please allow two business days for a response. 
 
NOTE: To request officer participation for Atlanta Public Schools (APS) Career Day, please contact the APS Police Department. Atlanta Public Schools may be reached by calling 404-802-3500.
