For consideration in the plea in absentia (PIA) program, you must request and complete an application from the City Solicitor's Office. You must follow and complete all pertinent instructions. Failure to submit all requested information or follow instructions may result in the rejection of your plea in absentia. You must complete the terms of the agreement before you are scheduled to appear in court. You are not eligible to apply for PIA if your court case is in Failure to Appear (FTA) status.
