Customers that are experiencing financial hardship and are unable to pay their water and sewer account or plumbing repairs, can review a list of social service agencies that may be able to provide payment resources or financial assistance. To learn about program eligibility and application requirements, contact a participating social service agency. The list of social service agencies provided in the web link below is not exhaustive. Once payment assistance is approved by a participating social services agency, please submit a document on agency letterhead including:

 

  1. Your Full Name
  2. Water and Sewer Account Number
  3. Service Address
  4. Payment amount approved by the agency
  5. Payment method the agency will utilize

     

To submit the agency documentation utilize the Upload File(s) button to upload. Agency documentation may also be submitted by fax to 404-221-9518. 

 

NOTE:

  • If the agency payment is less than the outstanding balance on the account, the customer must issue payment through other means to ensure that the account remains in good standing.
  • Proof of payment/payment assistance for the full account balance is required by the due date to avoid service interruption. For further assistance, contact Customer Service at 404-546-0311
  • To obtain general information on a water account, including account balance, due date, and payment locations, contact Customer Service at 404-546-0311.

     

The account may also be reviewed online via the Department of Watershed Management (DWM) Customer Portal.

 

Closing attorneys, property owners, tenants, lenders, or title companies seeking pay-off balance information, or an account summary history, should search the ATL311 portal for the article "Property Owner, Renter, Attorney, or Lender Request for Pay-Off Information On A Water/Sewer Account".

 

Customers who need to update the social security number or the tax ID on an account may submit a case below.
