The Department of Grants and  Community Development administers several limited repair programs and provides external agencies with Community Development Block Grants to make MINOR home repairs for homeowners. 

Participants applying for limited assistance must meet specific qualifications for home repair assistance, including – 

• Own and occupy the property in need of repairs. The property must be located within Atlanta city limits.
• Household income must be less than 80% of the Atlanta Metropolitan Statistical Area Median Income (AMI).
• Homeowner must have valid homeowners’ insurance.
