As of September 1, 2025, the City of Atlanta will no longer stencil the address on new or replacement carts.

If your GREEN garbage cart is missing, please contact ATL311 at 404.546.0311 or submit a request below.

When delivering replacement garbage carts, the Department of Public Works:

• Will not leave a cart if there is already one at the property

• Will not leave a cart at a vacant property

If needed, while awaiting your replacement cart, only place up to five (5) bags curbside. Do not use a non-city issued cart.

If you purchased an additional cart, you are responsible for the replacement of that cart. DPW will not provide a replacement for a damaged or missing cart if one is visible on the property.
