In the event a customer is due a refund, the Municipal Court of Atlanta will issue a refund in the appropriate amount to the same card used for the initial transaction. The processing fee charged to use a card is not refundable.

It typically takes 3-5 business days for a refund to appear on the customer’s account.  

If the initial payment was made by cash, check, or money order, a check will be mailed to the customer.
