The Department of City Planning (DCP) offers a range of online and virtual solutions for all your application and permitting needs. As of early 2020, all OZD services shifted to digital platforms. The Department of City Planning, Office of Zoning and Development (OZD), is responsible for interpreting and enforcing the zoning ordinance.

 

Applications accepted by the Office of Zoning and Development involve issues such as:

  • Rezoning

  • Variances

  • Special Exceptions

  • Special Use Permits

  • Special Administrative Permits

  • Urban Design

  • Subdivision

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM

   • Information Desk Hours:  Monday – Friday, 8:15 AM - 2:00 PM

   • Application Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM 

   • Applications for Appeals are accepted Monday – Friday, 8:15 AM – 5:00 PM

 

NOTE: Based on the type of application, a filing deadline may apply. Filing deadlines impact when an application will be scheduled for a public hearing. On the last day of filing, an applicant MUST be signed in BEFORE 3:00 PM in order to have the application accepted.
