Ordering Crime Scene Photos from the Atlanta Police Department

Law enforcement agencies seeking to determine if crime scene photos were submitted on a case should provide the following information to APD Photo Lab personnel: 

  • Incident number
  • Date of occurrence
  • Victim(s) name
  • Location of occurrence 
  • Lead Crime Scene Technician

 

All requests from law enforcement agencies are to be made directly to the APD Photo Lab at 404-546-4468. 

 

The Photo Lab does not email crime scene photographs or mail CDs. Either you or your representative must appear in person to sign for the photographs or CDs. Valid ID must be presented at the time of pick-up.  

 

NOTE: Crime scene photographs are disseminated to Atlanta Police Department (APD) employees on a need to know basis only.
