The Department of City Planning (DCP) offers a range of online and virtual solutions for all your application and permitting needs. As of early 2020, all OZD services shifted to digital platforms. Parking lot configuration and associated landscape buffer requirements are specified in the related zoning ordinance found online and detailed in the Special Administrative Permit (SAP) application form that may be required for building a parking lot. Typical parking spaces are 8'-6" x 18' with up to 25% of spaces allowed to be a compact size of 8' x 16'.

NOTE: Property zoning determines the need for a Special Administrative Permit.
