Professional practitioner registrations must be submitted online through ATLCORE. Professionals may elect to have taxes based on a flat tax rate of $400.00 (professional registration) or on gross receipts and number of employees (licensed general business).

 

ATLCORE registration is required. Please use the email address associated with your existing account when registering. The email address used to register will be the ID associated with the account for future access.  Registration directions can be found HERE. If you do not remember your email address on file or need to change your email address, including linking your new email to the business license, access the article, ATLCORE – Update Email Address/Forgotten Password Assistance for Business Occupation Tax Account, for instruction.

 

New professional registration requires the following: 

(1) Completed Professional Registration form

(2) Copy of State of Georgia professional license

(3) Completed SAVE Affidavit (must be notarized)

(4) Copy of valid U.S. government issued identification (i.e. driver’s license, passport) **ID must match the name shown on the SAVE affidavit.

(5) $400 non-refundable practitioner’s fee

(6) $50 non-refundable zoning review fee

 

For annual renewal, the following documents are required:

(1) Completed SAVE Affidavit (must be notarized)

(2) Copy of valid government issued identification (i.e. driver’s license, passport) **ID must match the name shown on the SAVE affidavit.

 

NOTE: ATLCORE will not accept upload of a file name containing special characters (&,@,/, etc.).

Once you have registered your account on ATLCORE, the Department of Finance Office of Revenue will link your accounts for the renewal to take place. Please complete the form below for further assistance with your renewal.

Licensed general businesses must submit renewal applications annually. Access the article, Business License Renewal – City of Atlanta, to view requirements.  

 

NOTE: If you were contacted by the Office of Revenue to remit missing documents, make sure to send the missing documents to the requestor's email address, in addition to uploading them to your ATLCORE account.
