To report a loose, missing, or damaged street plate, contact Customer Service at 404-546-0311, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
An inspector will be dispatched to the location to investigate the problem within 24 hours. Depending on the issue, a plate truck operator may be able to resolve the request. However, based on the severity of the damage underneath the metal plate or any planned maintenance work that precipitated placement of the metal plate, it can take longer to resolve. This time includes repairs to the sewer main, sewer lines, and or water main, as well as restoring the street. After the repairs and restoration are completed, the metal plate will be removed.
