The Department of Public Works Solid Waste Service (SWS) sweeps all residential streets with curbs and gutters. Street sweeping occurs three times a year for each quadrant. Signs are posted on main thoroughfares of the quadrant the week before the street is to be swept. 

If cars are parked on the street, the street cannot be swept.  

The schedule for street sweeping is as follows:
  • SE – Jan, May, Sept 
  • SW – Feb, June, Oct
  • NW – March, July, Nov
  • NE – April, Aug, Dec
