Shareable Dockless Mobility Devices (SDMD) are shareable transportation devices such as electric scooters or bikes that do not have docking stations. 

Per the amended Chapter150 Code of Ordinances, SDMDs must be permitted through the Department of Transportation (ATLDOT). 

The annual permit fee for less than 500 devices is $100 + $12,000.00 and an additional $50 for each additional device. Visit the website below for additional information.
