The owner has to notify the Office of Code Enforcement, within 30 days, of any change in the information provided in the registration statement. If ownership of a registered structure changes during the registration period, the new owner must file an amended registration statement within 20 days of accepting the property. There is no fee for filing an updated registration if it is done within the 20 day period. If the new owner doesn't register the property within the 20 days of the change in ownership, then he/she will have to pay the registration fee of $100.
