The Department of Watershed Management, Office of Engineering, provides a water and sewer letter of availability to customers for the purpose of identifying connectivity to city services before developing new properties. The availability letters are for information purposes only. Utilities must be located by the developer / contractor before construction.  

When requesting a water or sewer letter of availability, customers should provide the following:

  • Name

  • Title

  • Telephone number

  • Email address

  • Company name

  • Company address

  • Address of the property

  • Two cross streets that encompass the property

If the request is for sewer, please submit via email to sewercapacitycert@atlantaga.gov, Raymond Shipley at RShipley@Atlantaga.gov, and Jonah Akaose at jakaose@atlantaga.gov.
