Municipal Court of Atlanta cases that are bound over are sent directly to the corresponding court. The prosecuting office has two (2) years from the date of the incident to file a formal accusation of misdemeanor or traffic offenses.
The case may be bound over to Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, or Fulton County, depending on the location of the incident.
