What is the pretrial intervention program?

Criminal Pre-Trial Intervention (CPTI) and Pre-Trial Intervention Traffic (PTIT) are diversion or alternative prosecution programs offered through the Solicitor's Office that result in the dismissal of your charge(s). Eligibility will be determined by the City Solicitor's Office.

For questions regarding CPTI or PTIT:

  • Contact the Solicitor’s Office – (404)658-6163

  • Email CPTI@atlantaga.gov (criminal case numbers that begin with CR) or PTIT@atlantaga.gov (traffic case numbers that begin with TR)

 

If you are found ineligible for CPTI or PTIT, the Court will email you to inform you of your ineligibility and provide a new court date. You may also check the Find My Case Tool for your new court date. If the email does not state why you were found ineligible, you can ask for the reason at your next court hearing.
