The City of Atlanta only boots vehicles parked in the public right of way (public streets). Vehicles are boot-eligible if there are three (3) or more delinquent parking citations. To release the boot, all open parking fines must be paid in full including a $50 boot removal fee. If the boot is not removed within 24 hours, the vehicle will be impounded.

If your car was booted in a paid or private parking lot, the booting was initiated by the parking lot owner and must be resolved through the booting company and/or the parking lot owner. Contact the booting company listed on the sticker on the vehicle window or the posted sign in the parking lot.
