The City of Atlanta does not clean up liquids, including paint, that may spill from trash in garbage trucks. Liquids should be properly disposed of to eliminate or minimize spillage.

Disposal guidelines can be found on the Department of Public Works’ Waste Wizard. Light spills are a normal part of garbage collection and will be washed away by rain or evaporate.
