ATLCORE is the Business Occupational Tax and Permitting Portal that allows applicants to:
 
 

  • Submit new applications
  • Complete the renewal process for existing occupation tax certificates (business licenses) and permits
  • Pay associated fees
  • Print the occupation tax certificate and alcohol licenses without in-person interactions with City staff.


To access ATLCORE, applicants can register on the portal with a valid email address and password. Applicants must also use Google Chrome, clear their cache and allow for third party cookies. 
 
The available applications include:
 

  • Adult Entertainment
  • Alcohol Licenses
  • Financial Institutions
  • General Business License
  • Insurance Accounts
  • Outdoor Special Events
  • Professionals
  • Regulatory Permits issued by the Atlanta Police Department.
  • Tattoo Artist/Parlor
  • Vehicle Immobilization

 
Applicants are not required to have a separate account for each business they own in the City of Atlanta. One registered account on ATLCORE can be used to manage multiple businesses and their associated occupation tax certificates and permits.

Once the application is processed by the Department of Finance staff, you will receive an email with the invoice. The invoice is also available via ATLCORE.
