Activate ATL: Recreation & Parks for All, DPR’s comprehensive, 10-year master plan aimed at developing a world-class parks and recreation is officially adopted! In June 2020, DPR launched an intensive evaluation of the existing conditions of the parks and recreation system, population growth and nationwide trends. Through the most robust community engagement process DPR has ever undertaken, residents were able to contribute valuable input toward the plan's development. 

The framework for the preservation, maintenance and growth of the City’s current system aims to ensure that communities across the city have equitable access to exceptional parks and recreational activities in all neighborhoods.
