Property owners must follow state and federal laws regarding land disturbance within creeks or streams. Prior to making any stream modifications, the Site Development Division must be contacted in order to determine what permits may be required from the City of Atlanta, the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, and the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD).
