Financial Emergency Services
For assistance with food, clothing, rent/mortgage, utilities, school supplies, and furniture, you may schedule an appointment at your nearest Salvation Army Financial Emergency Services Center. For the following counties, Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, and Gwinnet, please contact 404-486-2888 or visit www.sahelp.org.

You will be asked to provide proof of identity and proof of residence, and you will not be able to apply in counties outside the one in which you live. Each office has its own appointment policy, but most operate on a first-come, first-serve basis and will see clients as long as funds are available.
Please note: Fulton and Dekalb county locations are not accepting applications at this time.
Hot Meal Programs & Food Pantries
The Salvation Army serves more than 56 million meals to anyone in need through its many soup kitchens, sit-down meal programs, food pantries, mobile meals, and community gardens. These nutritional meals assist homeless people of all ages, as well as individuals and families who may be down on their luck and in need of some extra assistance.
Homeless Services and Prevention
Services offered include prevention, refuge, and stability to men, women, and families who find themselves without shelter or at risk of losing shelter due to personal and financial circumstances. Housing options include homelessness prevention, emergency and transitional housing, re-housing programs, low-income housing, and residential recovery programs – giving individuals support through their current life state.
Youth Enrichment
Specialized youth programs are available for kids 6-18 years old. By supporting overall physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, these programs address life skills and character development in a safe setting – helping more than 3,000 kids to reach their greater potential each year.
