The Department of Public Works (DPW) contacts citizens who currently receive backyard garbage and recycling services to be recertified. To be recertified for backyard services, provide a photo ID and a licensed physician’s certified statement stating you are physically incapable of placing the garbage and recycling at the curb.

Completed documents can be submitted to the Department of Public Works through either of the channels outlined below. There is no deadline for submission of the documents; however, delaying submission may cause service delays.
