The APD Teen Citizen’s Academy educates our young people in the operations and practices of your Atlanta Police Department. The program allows City of Atlanta high school youths to get an inside look at law enforcement and even experience what it’s like to respond to a scene as an officer.
The Teen Academy will be offered June 10 - 14, 2024, Monday - Friday 9AM - 3PM. Instruction will be delivered both in class at the Public Safety Headquarters and on field trips.
Class topics may include:
City of Atlanta residents will have priority in the acceptance process. Applicants must be willing to submit to a criminal history check prior to being accepted as Teen Police Academy students.
