Short-Term, Rent, Mortgage, and Utility (STRMU) Assistance is Temporary financial assistance to help cover rent, mortgage, and utility costs, preventing homeless during periods of financial crisis.
STRMU support is designed to prevent homelessness and ensure that you remain in stable housing while dealing with financial hardships. STRMU offers short-term assistance, typically up to 21 weeks within a 52-week period through the following:
