The primary focus of Hosea Helps is preventing homelessness among families who were recently financially stable but experienced unexpected income loss or major expenses. They provide a full spectrum of support services — such as rent and mortgage assistance, utility assistance, rapid rehousing, and personal finance education — with the help of case managers who assess each family’s unique needs and work to stabilize their household.
Through their Homeless Prevention Program, they intervene before housing is lost or work with families in new housing to build sustainable plans.
