Atlanta Rising Prevention Pilot

The Atlanta Rising Prevention Pilot is a three-year homelessness prevention initiative led by Partners for HOME. The pilot is designed to identify households at the highest risk of homelessness and provide targeted financial assistance, supportive services, and legal assistance to help them remain stably housed.

Threshold Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the program, households must meet all three of the following threshold requirements:

• Be currently housed and at imminent risk of losing housing within 14 days
• Reside within the City of Atlanta
• Have a household income at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI)

Please note that meeting the threshold eligibility criteria does not guarantee enrollment in the program. Households that pass the initial screening must complete a prevention assessment that evaluates their risk of homelessness.

Only households determined eligible through this assessment and selected through the program's referral and research process will receive assistance through this initiative.

How to Refer Community Members
Individuals or families who believe they may qualify should contact any of the participating providers directly. Provider staff will work with the household to determine whether they meet threshold eligibility requirements and assist them through the assessment process.
