The Atlanta Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program trains and prepares citizens on how to help themselves and others for up to 72 hours following a natural disaster or catastrophe that delays a response by professional emergency workers.
Open to those who live and work in the City of Atlanta, this free training, taught by a group of professionally trained facilitators, will further enhance participants’ knowledge, skills, and abilities of emergency preparedness.
To attend ACERT Basic Training, all individuals must:
