To dispute a school bus violation ticket, you must appear at the Municipal Court of Atlanta on the hearing date reflected on the summons. 
 

To confirm the scheduled hearing, you must submit the form located on the back of the summons to the Court within 14 days of the issue date shown on the front of the notice.

A court appearance does not increase the fine amount. 

After you dispute a school bus violation ticket and request a court appearance, please note the following:

• You will be notified of your court date by mail; however, it is recommended that you utilize the Find My Case Tool after requesting a court appearance to identify your assigned court date.
• Once a court hearing date is assigned, you must appear in court on the assigned date or pay your citation.
• If you fail to appear in court on the assigned hearing date, a “Default Judgment” will be issued and noted on your case. You will not be able to reschedule the case. Your only option to resolve your school bus violation citation is to pay the fine and any associated fees online at www.ViolationInfo.com or by phone at 1-866-790-4111.

School bus violation hearings are not eligible to be rescheduled. All requests for resets will be denied.

You may withdraw a dispute request after a hearing has been scheduled by paying the fine, which will resolve and close the case.
