City of Atlanta Outdoor Swimming Pools

The following City of Atlanta outdoor swimming pools will open May 23-25 in celebration of the Memorial Day holiday to start the Summer season: Grant Park, John A. White Park, Southbend, and Maddox Park. All other pools will open on May 30th for the 2026 Summer season.

 

All pools will have a daily schedule from 12:30 PM - 7:00 PM except the following weekly closures:

Candler Park- 1500 McClendon Ave., NE

Anderson Park - 100 Anderson Ave., NW

John A. White Park - 1101 Cascade Cir. SW

Grant Park - 625 Park Ave., NW

Maddox Park - 1142 Donald Lee Hollowell Pwky., NW

Rev. James Orange Park - 1305 Oakland Ln., SW

Pittman Park - 952 Garibaldi St., SW

Rosa L. Burney Park - 477 Windsor St., SW

Powell at Mozley Park - 1690 MLK Jr., Dr., NW

Thomasville Park- 1750 Thomasville Dr., SE

South Bend Park - 2000 Lakewood Ave., SE

 

Please note: In observance of Juneteenth, Friday, June 19, and Independence Day, Saturday, July 4, all COA outdoor pools, recreation centers, and natatoriums will close. 

 

  • There are no admission fees for any City of Atlanta outdoor pools.
  • To help ensure the safety of pool visitors, an adult must always accompany children under 12 years old.
