Re-certification Notice:

Department of Public Works (DPW)/ Solid Waste – Backyard Services has contacted citizens who currently receive backyard services to be recertified. To be recertified for backyard services, please fax a copy of your driver’s license and/or a letter from your doctor to 404-739-4800 advising you cannot push/pull cart to the curb.

City of Atlanta trucks must be able to enter the driveway for collection and the backyard must be accessible to DPW personnel; otherwise, backyard service cannot be provided.

If your residential garbage backyard service was missed and is being reported after 2:00 PM the scheduled day of collection or the following day, an online request may be submitted below, or you may call Customer Service at 404-546-0311.
