solution home » services » solution Bulk Collection Request*****IT IS MANDATORY THAT BULK ITEMS ARE IN THE FRONT OF THE PROPERTY**********Due to the pandemic this service may be delayed, please continue to reach out to ATL311 for any updates*****The City of Atlanta's Office of Solid Waste Services schedules 12 Bulk Collections per year. THINGS TO KNOW:  • If the 12 collections per year are exceeded, the resident is charged a fee of $325  • Bulk collection is to be scheduled at least one business day in advance  • Bulk Collections is defined as no more than 8 cubic yards (the size of a small room of furniture)  • If the items to be collected exceed 8 cubic yards, the additional items collected will be considered an  additional bulk collection  • If bulk collection is scheduled and the items are not in the front of the property on the scheduled day, this will  also count against the 12 collections per year.  • Scheduled bulk collections must be cancelled 2 business days prior to the scheduled collection day.  • Bulk items shall not be placed at the curb before 7 p.m. on the day before the scheduled pick-up day  • If bulk items are placed on the curb before 7 p.m. the day before, a citation will be issued  • Bulk items must be placed in the front of the property  • Bulk items must be in one pile  • If the bulk collection request is for a town home community, please provide the gate code in the notes section  if applicable. Bulk is prohibited for the following:  • Evictions  • Vacant Porperties  • Items left by contractors will not be collectedBulk waste pick-ups should be scheduled by contacting ATL311 at 404.546.0311, by utilizing the Solid Waste Services web portal (by clicking on the link below), or by submitting a request via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram at @ATL311.
